For Who needs dreams when I have all these memories?, I constructed an interactive kaleidoscope as a model of the memory-to-dream pipeline, using a mix of found and handmade objects representing varied personal memories. Viewers were invited to look through the kaleidoscope while turning the tray to experience the countless compositions created through the amalgamated memorabilia. Subsequently, Who needs memories when I have all these dreams? and Untitled (Harlequin) utilize still images of the kaleidoscope view, printed and installed large-scale on windows to situate the compositions within their surrounding environments.
